Poem#2 Raindrops
Raindrops
Behold, it’s raining, leisurely, tinkling,
Emotions elating with glee – sprinkling
Damp drops chorus a lazy pop, a sequins’ arched row
With moist hues paint a prismatic rainbow.
These unbiased drops – fine tuned and messed,
Pouring alike upon destitute and blessed,
Whitewashes the greenery the greener
Mystifies against Nature, the beloved schemer.
The earthy scent invites folks at doors to peep
Raindrops outside, but insides drown deep.
It succeeds to splash thrill all-around,
The melody of ‘water-wave' holds them spellbound.
